“My baby was born at 7 months. At first I was scared because I had malaria and my previous child was born at 9 months. Her weight scared me even more. Before admission the condition of my child was bad, she cried the entire time until we arrived at the hospital. I was requested to put my child in Kangaroo. I did not know about it nevertheless it saved my child. Whenever I would put her in kangaroo her temperature would rise and this give me hope that my child would survive and become fine.”

This mama’s preterm baby reached 2.5kg in May and has been discharged from our neonatal follow-up clinic. Congratulations.
